About Us

The Towelkini was first created by artist Aria McManus, as a conceptual art piece to design that combines a towel and a swimsuit. It was first made by the artist as a prototype and then was made into a first limited edition series by Art Retailer Special Special. It was made into a limited edition of 42 for adults and kids in Hot Pink, Athletic Gold, and Lime Green. Some of the first limited edition Towelkinis are still available and can be purchased at Special Special.
